The ADCO crew learned a lot this week about state-of-the-art signage at the Colite open house.

Colite is an international signage company still owned by the family that started it here in Columbia in 1947. Its customers have included Microsoft, American Airlines, Gap, Old Navy, Hewlett Packard and other prominent brands.

About 80 people turned out Monday for an open house showing the latest products the company is offering. It’s not just about conventional signs. Colite also offers:

A steady stream of guests, including Mayor Steve Benjamin, came by to learn more about what Colite does, and the day was seen as a success.

“The team here at Colite seemed pretty pleased as they felt like they were talking non-stop for the entire afternoon,” said Richard Berger, a marketing associate with the company. “Not a bad problem to have for a bunch of sales guys.”
