The ADCO Blog

It’s that time of year again, folks. The holidays.

Usually, all of us at ADCO spend the holidays the same way. As Thanksgiving approaches, we scramble to come up with a great idea for our annual “thank you” card to our clients, supporters, and friends.

Then as Christmas looms on the horizon, we struggle to select a great gift to give to all the wonderful people who let us do work for them. In the past, we’ve given all sorts of things. Unique staplers, coffee mugs, chocolates and assorted goodies, fruit, flashlights…you name it, we’ve given it.

This year, there was no shortage of ideas. And, like always, we had both good ones and bad ones come up in our rousing brainstorming discussion.

Despite all the great ideas, we kept coming back to one significant thought:  “It’s been a tough year for everyone. We should find a way to help.”

And that’s what we’ve done. This holiday season, instead of giving a gift, we decided to help fight hunger by making a donation in honor of our clients and friends to Harvest Hope Food Bank.

It’s a holiday gift that remembers the difficult year we’ve all had and looks forward to a brighter tomorrow, for all of us.
