ADCO's Jessica Cook to Speak at PRAWNC's April Luncheon
04.23.09
Jessica Cook, Director of Internet Marketing at ADCO, has been invited to speak at the Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina's monthly luncheon on April 24, 2009. In her one-hour-long talk, Jessica will focus on social media, answering the questions everyone seems to be asking: "What is social media? Can it help my business thrive?"
"It is an honor to speak in front of the public relations and marketing professionals who attend PRAWNC. I am thrilled to talk with them about the use and impact of social media, and I look forward to hearing their insights and answering their questions," said Jessica.
To begin her presentation, Jessica will discuss the nature of social media as an interactive, one-to-one, consumer-generated form of media. She will then explore how that nature is radically different from other forms of media—as well as how that very nature presents an unparalleled opportunity to reach and build relationships with consumers.
To give attendees an idea of the power of social media, Jessica will give some real-life examples how businesses are using the big three social networks—Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter—to accomplish their goals. She'll wrap up her talk by offering seven tips for effectively using social media.
