ADCO Recognized Among Advertising Peers from Three States

07.07.09

ADCO is proud to announce it has received industry recognition among peers from three states for their outstanding creativity at this year’s district ADDY Awards. ADCO is one of only three advertising agencies locally that achieved recognition at the district level of the ADDY competition.

The ADDYs, hosted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. The winning project, the AIGA SC InShow Awards Materials Package, garnered a Silver ADDY Award at the district level. The package consisted of an innovatively designed invitation and a program book listing all of the InShow winners.

ADCO won 12 awards at the local ADDY Awards in March, hosted by the AAF of The Midlands, and eight of those proceeded on to compete in the next level, the district awards. AAF of the Midlands is part of the third district, which is comprised of 10 other clubs from Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

“The competition is tough at the district level, and it really is an honor to win,” Art Director Jennifer McSwain said. “The number of regional awards won in the Midlands speaks to the high caliber work that is produced locally.”
