Were you there when Hillary Clinton made her first campaign visit to South Carolina since 2008?
Nekki Shutt, one of our valued clients over at Callison Tighe, was. And The Wall Street Journal asked her what she thought about the candidate:
Republican pollster Bill McInturff said that to win next year, the GOP nominee will need to win white women by at least nine or 10 percentage points, probably more. Early polling shows Mrs. Clinton beating several potential opponents outright among white women.
Nekki Shutt, an attorney from Columbia, S.C., who attended a Clinton event, said she doesn’t recall Mrs. Clinton talking so much about women and families in 2008, when she also supported her. “I think it’s great. That is what makes her different as a candidate,” she said. “She speaks to our issues and knows where we’re coming from.”
… which of course caused us to jump up and say, “Hey! We know her!”
