We’re pleased to announce that Lauren McAlexander, ADCO’s Digital Marketing Strategist, has been made Partner. Lauren has been an integral part of ADCO since she joined in 2018 and looks at this step as an exciting new chapter of her story with us. She joins Creative Director and co-founder, Brian Murrell, and President Lora Prill in leadership of our agency.
Lora had nothing but great things to say about this news: “Lauren exemplifies everything that makes ADCO special. Sincere customer service. Commitment to delivering our best work to every client. And enjoying every moment. We couldn’t be happier that she now owns a part of the agency we love.”
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Lauren is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In her day-to-day work with us, Lauren executes online advertising strategy to connect our clients with valuable audiences. By measuring the successes and key insights of our digital campaigns, Lauren drives many of our efforts.
Before joining ADCO, Lauren’s worked in retail marketing, then legal marketing. Throughout her career thus far, she has stayed involved with local industry groups. She is president-elect of the American Advertising Federation’s Midlands chapter. Lauren has been awarded AAF Midlands board member of the year twice, and has served the organization in many capacities for the past four years.
When asked about her journey up to this point, Lauren said, “Prior to working at ADCO, I often questioned my abilities and talents. Lora and Brian believed in me from day one and put those thoughts to rest for good.
“In seven years of working here, I have not had a single day where I questioned my decision and I truly have so much fun at my job. Every day is different, I get to learn so many different industries and ways to market them, and I have some of the best clients.
“Being named partner is such an honor because I truly cannot imagine myself anywhere else.” We’re happy to say we feel the same.
