SHIFT Communications studied 62,768 press releases published in 2013 to find the 50 most overused words in press releases for 2013, which they describe as “tired words that are overused, have lost their meaning, and no longer convey even a search advantage.”
“New,” “first,” “mobile,” “professional” and “most” topped the list.
