The announcement will be at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday night, Dec. 5, in the Lucy Hampton Bostick Auditorium at Richland Library downtown.
We got into last year’s book — A.J. Mayhew’s novel, The Dry Grass of August — in a big way.
In the above photo, our own Brad Warthen — director of communications/public relations at ADCO — moderates a panel discussion of the book at Richland Library back in February. Also pictured are panelists R. Blakeslee Gilpin, assistant professor of history at the University of South Carolina; Clo Cammarata, programs and partnerships manager at the library; and Valerie Rowe Jackson, deputy director of Richland Library.
