Meet the newest member of our ADCO team, Libby Gober.
If you’ve lived in Columbia for any length of time, you might already know Libby. She has been the Executive Assistant to City of Columbia Government City Council for 19 years. She is also “world famous” royalty, as she is one of the original Kudzu Queens. (But that’s another story).
A USC graduate, Libby served the city of Columbia in various roles before her position as executive assistant to the city council. During that time, she helped administer the city’s hospitality tax dollars to various organizations. She also interacted with more than 100 nonprofits and became a champion for the local arts community and other nonprofits.
She retired in January to do, in her own words, ‘absolutely nothing,’ until ADCO pulled her out of retirement to be our ambassador. As our new Director of Business Development, Libby will be letting businesses in the community know how ADCO’s creativity, experience and talents can help them grow.
When you see Libby around town, be sure and tell her hello. She will probably give you one of our cards. Then call us and let’s talk about how our ideas can move your business forward.
